C’est donc l’heure du bilan. Il restera 88 joueurs sur les 159 entrants à l’issue de cette première journée du main event des WSOPE.

Jacques Zaicik a été éliminé dans la dernière de jeu, son se heurtant violemment au de son adversaire.

Bruno Fitoussi double son stack sur la dernière main de la journée. Il relance préflop 4,000 (blinds 200-400 ante 50) et se voit sur-relancé à 20,000. Bruno est couvert et call tapis, et ouvre alors que son adversaire dévoile

Le flop reste en faveur du français, qui finit la journée avec 37,000 jetons.

Antony Lellouche clôt cette journée avec un honorable 30,000

Andy Black: 51,000

Joe hachem: 18,000

Phil Hellmuth finit aux alentours de 20,000, ayant double avec AK vs AQ dans la dernière heure de jeu.

Et pour finir,  on n’a pas son stack mais elle est vraiment trop mignonne pour se priver de sa photo avant d’aller d’aller dormir: Erika Schoenberg:

Il ne reste que quelques secondes à jouer dans ce niveau 4, et Antony Lellouche en profite pour doubler. Situé au cut-off, il re-raise à 4,500 les 1,500 misés par Nicolai Evdokov, et les deux joueurs se retrouvent à tapis préflop.
